Job description:

As Head of Controlling and Reporting, you will be a driver of financial excellence and strategic decision-making in the company. Your focus will be on delivering relevant insights through data analysis, improving reporting processes and building advanced BI solutions. You will work closely with top management, helping them make faster and better-informed decisions based on reliable data.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Strategic financial reporting: Designing and improving reporting processes, with a focus on timely, accurate and relevant information for management and other stakeholders.
  • Budgeting and planning: Preparing budgets and financial plans in cooperation with key departments, monitoring their execution and proposing corrective measures.
  • Business performance analytics: Analyzing key financial and operational indicators (KPIs) and making recommendations for business optimization.
  • BI solution development: Leading the development and implementation of Business Intelligence systems (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) that enable deeper data analysis and visualization.
  • Data-driven advisory: Turning data into recommendations that drive growth, efficiency and innovation in the business.
  • Decision-making support: Preparing ad-hoc analyses and simulations for strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
  • Team leadership: Developing and supporting a team of analysts through mentoring, training and competency development.
  • Process improvement: Automating and digitalizing reporting and planning processes in order to increase efficiency and reduce manual work.
  • Monitoring market trends: Identifying and applying new tools, methodologies and approaches in the field of financial analytics and BI.
  • Internal controls and compliance: Designing and implementing internal controls related to finance processes, as well as providing support during external audits.

 

Required qualifications:

  • University degree in economics, finance, accounting or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in controlling, financial reporting or analytics, including experience in leading teams.
  • Experience working with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau or similar) and ERP systems.
  • In-depth understanding of financial statements and KPIs.
  • Ability to think strategically and to communicate complex analyses to management in a simple way.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Business-level proficiency in English.
